You are familiar with Plezi Plus and Star, and you want to create and publish a landing page? This article should be of assistance to you!
A landing page is designed to entice visitors to take action, such as downloading a free book or signing up for your newsletter. But that can also be a request to have contact details: request a demonstration or sign up for a webinar.
Pre-requisites
Create a type of resource in advance, such as a contact form or downloadable content.
Step 1: Locate the "conversion" tab
Go to your content, then in the "Conversion" tab.
at the bottom of the page, click on "Create a landing page".
Step 2: Select a template
For your future template, you have 3 possibilities:
Plezi template (1)
Previous pages, if you've already published a landing page (2)
Or others via a wide-ranging library (3).
Then modify it in the editor.
Customize the header, signature, and links to your social networks (the idea is to design a template that represents your brand identity: give it your brand colors and style!).
Step 3: Edit your landing page URL
Personalize your landing page by adding text after your domain name (1).
If your domain is not validated or configured, the default domain name is displayed (companyname.plezi.pages.com, by default).
Create your custom subdomain by clicking on Configure my custom domain (2). Click here to find out more.
❗️Check the name of your URL before publishing your landing page because you will not be able to change it once it is published.
Step 5: Reference your landing page
To reference your landing page and make it visible to search engines: Remember to make it visible by checking the box "visible in search engines" (1)
Then press the Save button (2).
Bon à savoir
Deleting a form from a landing page will result in a "form missing" error; it must therefore be present.
Tips & tricks
A landing page is always linked to a resource, such as a contact form or downloadable content.
You can modify, unpublish or delete your landing page at any time.
Once you've modified your landing page, don't forget to save it and publish the changes.
