How to create an email campaign on Plezi ?

Learn how to create an email campaign in four easy steps on Plezi One, Plus and Star.

By following the steps outlined in this article, you will be able to create your first email campaign on Plezi.

An email campaign encapsulates all communications sent to a specific audience (prospects or customers) with the goal of prospecting, loyalty, or information.

Prerequisite:

  • Update your contact lists before sending your email campaign

Step 1: Find the "Create a new campaign" feature

  • Option 1: From Emailings

- Navigate on the menu < Emailings> (1).

- Then on your interface, find out New Campaign (2).

  • Option 2: Via contact

- Navigate to Contacts (1).

- Next, create an email campaign (2).

  • Option 3: Via ressource

- From the resources (1), select one of your existing resources or create one.

- In the "Engagement" tab (2), click on "Create an email campaign" (3).


Step 2: Create the content of your email campaign "What"

- Include the subject of your email and, optionally, a link to one of your resources.

(If you used a resource to create your campaign, this option will be checked).

- Select a template that suits you best !

=> Now you can customize your email from the Bee editor.

Remember to save all of your changes!

Step 3: Set up your campaign "Who"

  • Add the sender's name and e-mail address, then choose your domain name.

  • If your domain is not validated or configured, you will be offered the default domain name: @plezi-mail.co. To configure your domain name, go here.

  • Select one or more recipients for your e-mailing campaign:

    • From the <segments> option (1) or via <Imports> (2).

    • If required, you can create a segment or import directly by clicking on New segment or + Create import.

🆕 The WHO section of the Email campaign has been modernized! You'll find your personalized response email pre-filled, and you'll be able to use your personalized default domain name.


Step 4: Set up your campagne "When"

Schedule the sending of your campaign as you wish!

Your email's content should be interesting and impactful ! By including links to relevant pages on your site, you should encourage your readers to visit your site or consume your resources.

Reading the statistics of your email campaign

Delivered = total number of emails that arrived in the mailboxes.

Opened = total number of contacts who opened the email

Clicks = total number of contacts who clicked on the email

⚠️ We recommend that you send out test mailings to ensure that everything is working properly before sending the campaign to the entire contact list.


Tips & tricks

  • An email campaign cannot be modified after it has been sent 👀

  • Remember to add a CTA so that your recipients can access your content !

  • In order for your recipients to quickly identify your company, personalise your name and e-mail address.

  • By clicking on "Add a personalized reply address (1)", you can add your personalized reply e-mail address. If you don't, the address will be treated as a no-reply and your recipients won't be able to reply.

  • The "+" character is not accepted in the format of the sending mail.

  • The statistics that appear are based on single events.

  • If you end up with a higher number of clicks than opens, this is due to the clicking bot, so don't worry, your statistics are not wrong !
