If you're using the Plezi version and would like to customize your "Click to Call" or "mailto" links, you've come to the right place!
The "mailto" links allow visitors to open the editing window of their default email program. They can be configured to create an e-mail with a specific recipient, subject and body text.
You can insert "click-to-call" or "mailto" links in CTAs or rich text blocks.
1. Creating a click-to-call link
Option 1: Insert the click-to-call link in the CTAs
Go to your landing page or email editor
Add your CTA (1), then in the left-hand bar, select Link Type
In the drop-down list, select the desired event (2): Call
In the Tel box, enter the telephone number (3)
Option 2: Insert call link in a block of text.
Go to your landing page or email editor
Add and/or select the block of text (1) in which you want to create a link
Then click on the link icon (2)
In the window that appears, select Tel (3) from the drop-down list.
Enter your phone number (4)
You can also customise the hypertext link (5) 😉
In the bottom right-hand corner, click OK.
2. Create a mailto link
Option 1: Insert the mailto link in the CTAs
Go to your landing page or email editor
Add your CTA (1), then in the left-hand bar, select Link Type
In the drop-down list, select the desired event (2): Send email
Add your e-mail address / mailto and customise the subject and body of your mailto link (3)!
Option 2: Insert the mailto link in a block of text
Go to your landing page or email editor
Add and/or select the block of text (1) in which you wish to create a mailto link
Then click on the link icon (2)
In the window that appears, select Email (3) from the drop-down list.
Enter your mailto link (4)
Add the email address and customise the subject and body of your mailto link (5)
In the bottom right-hand corner, click OK.
And then!
