Objective of this article:

To provide a detailed understanding of how Smart Forms operate, emphasizing how these dynamic fields automatically adapt to the specific needs of leads.

How does it work?

In concrete terms, the functionality is based on activating smart fields in forms, then choosing the replacement field(s). These dynamic fields automatically update based on the information already available on the lead, providing a smoother and more efficient user experience.


Step 1: Activate the Smart field option

Option 1: Enable the smart field via the form

  • Go to your resource to edit your form (1)

  • In the Form tab, click on Edit to enable the "SMART" option. (2)

  • When activated, the color of the selected field becomes multicolored, like a rainbow.

  • At the bottom of the page, discover the brand new stylish field "Smart Replacement Fields ✨" (3).


Option 2: Activation of the Intelligent Field via Form Templates

  • Go to conversions, then to template forms.

  • Next, select and edit your template (1).

  • When activated, the color of the selected field becomes multicolored, like a rainbow (2).

  • At the bottom of the page, discover the brand-new stylish field "Smart Replacement Fields ✨" (3).


Step 2: Choose the replacement field

This is where you choose the field(s) that will replace the given smart field when filled in by a potential customer.

In the screenshot below, we've chosen the following replacement fields: job title, business sector and language, which will replace the first name, last name and company fields when the form is submitted a second time.

1 => So you can change the way fields are displayed.

2 => Set whether replacement fields are mandatory or not.


Good to know

It's up to you to decide the number of smart fields you want to display in your form.
