You are a Plezi Plus and Star user, and you want to set up a Smart campaign to automatically reactivate your contacts? You've come to the right place!

Prerequisites

  • Plan the amount of content that will be sent in your smart campaign

  • Have a base of qualified and previously segmented contacts.

To launch your smart campaign, you have two options:

Option 1: Activate the smart campaign from the Engagement tab.

Step 1: Set up your smart campaign

  • Set the sending delay for your smart campaign emails to your contacts.

In the Smart Campaign tab, go to Settings to customize this delay: Trigger event: the contact hasn't received anything for a set number of days.

Contacts who haven't received an email during this period will be targeted in your smart campaign.

  • Choose your audience: here you can add or create a segment.

Selecting your audience for the smart campaign allows you to send eligible and relevant resources to specific contacts based on their activity on the site. This helps you better target the needs of each of your contacts and re-engage them more effectively.

  • Define the segmentation criteria:

  • If this option is enabled, the email will only be sent to contacts who have a value entered in the field. This means that the contact must have the same tag as the resource to receive the emails in the smart campaign promoting the corresponding content; it will function like an exclusive tag.

In this screenshot, emails will only be sent to contacts who have an Interest:

  • If the option is disabled, emails promoting content within the smart campaign will be sent primarily to contacts sharing the field displayed in the segmentation. This will work like a preferential tag.

In this screenshot, emails will primarily be sent to contacts who have an Industry and a Workforce (option disabled).

📢❗🚨 Please note that enabling this option also includes phase-based sending. The smart campaign uses the score of each contact to select the appropriate content based on their phase.

If you activate the "Segmentation" option, it will take into account both of these criteria (phase and tag).

Step 2: Add and activate your resources

Add the most relevant resources that will best educate your prospects or leads.

You can do this with a single click from your progress or by going to your resources.

  • Go to the Resources tab (1), then add your resources (2).

  • Edit the email that will be associated with your smart campaign (3).

  • Once the campaign is configured, click the switch (4) to activate your resources.

Option 2: Activate a campaign from the Resources tab

This feature allows you to promote specific content. To do this:

- Go to the Resources

- Select the relevant resource

- On the engagement page, click on Create a Smart Campaign

What's next? Define the new email that will be associated with your Smart Campaign.

Inclusion of contacts in the smart campaign

In a smart campaign, the following contacts will be included:

  • Contacts who have submitted a form on your site.

  • Contacts imported via a CSV file into your account.

Coming soon:
Contacts created via CRM synchronization or API query will also be able to be included in the smart campaign.

Tips & Tricks

  • Your resources must appear in the "Your Active Resources" section for you to launch your smart campaign.

  • Don't forget to validate the emails of your resources after editing them, in order to launch your smart campaign.

Good to know

👉🏽 You can edit, pause and stop your campaign live.

Go to the dashboard to follow the evolution of your campaign: the number of contacts entered, the number of openings, etc..

You keep your hands on everything!

  • You are the one who creates and tests the email that will be sent to your contacts.

  • You are the one who chooses the resource(s) that will be sent as part of your smart campaign.

The only thing you don't do is press every "send" button, for every contact. So you save time, intelligently!
