Yes, you can choose to make smart charging stations publicly accessible, so that others can charge at your charging station.

Most charging stations offer options to restrict access. If you leave access open, anyone with a public charge card can use the station. This is interesting if you want your partner to be able to charge their vehicle on your charge point too. You can do this by choosing for the 'Public Reimbursement' package, which even allows you to set your own charging rate.

It's important to note that if you open up your charging station publicly, anyone with a charge point application will be able to see your charging station in the app. This is the result of the most recent AFIR ruling. It is possible to indicate to other users on the charge point applications that your charge point is not accessible to anyone by adding this to the name of your charge point. However, this doesn't technically prohibit other EV drivers from using your charge point.
