Connecting Plugzio Wi-Fi extenders to cellular modems

Please refer to the image and follow the steps below to connect the modem to the PoE injector.

Step by step

  1. Connect an ethernet cable to the "PoE & LAN" port of the cellular modem, while connecting the other end to the "PoE" port on the modem's PoE injector.

  2. Connect another ethernet cable to the "LAN" port of the modem's PoE injector, while connecting the other end to the "LAN" port of the Wi-Fi extender's PoE injector.

  3. Connect the third ethernet cable to the Wi-Fi extender itself, while connecting the other end to the "PoE" port of the Wi-Fi extender's PoE injector.

    Note: If you are using a PoE switch, the PoE switch can replace the PoE injector and power both the extenders and modems.
