The Plugzio devices have two accessibility modes that can be modified on the management dashboard. By choosing either of the modes, Public or Private, you decide who is able to charge with your Plugzio unit.

What are the accessibility modes "Public" and "Private"

Public: this is the default mode when you first register your device on your management dashboard. When this mode is active on the device, everyone with a Plugzio user dashboard is able to initiate a charging session and use the device.

Private: by changing the mode to Private, you lock the device to everyone except the users you add to the device. In other words, you decide who can or can not use your Plugzio device.

Steps To Change Accessibility Mode:

  • Head to the Plugzio management dashboard on your web browser and open the "Device Management" page on the left sidebar

  • Find the tile for the device you are trying to change access settings for

  • Tap on the "Access Setting" icon on the device

  • Choose your preferred accessibility mode (Public or Private) through the dropdown menu of Access Settings

  • Click "Submit" when you are done

    - NOTE: If someone is currently using this device you will be notified and you have the option to discontinue their session to make this change. Moreover, device settings can be changed while being actively used, however, it will immediately terminate/end the user's session.
