What is Dx & Tx?
Updated over 4 months ago

Dx & Tx monographs offer practical, peer-reviewed diagnostic and treatment information for hundreds of clinical conditions and signs. You might know them by their former name: Clinical Briefs.

We first called these monographs Clinical Briefs because they are created with the same careful peer-review process as Clinician’s Brief. However, we revisited after receiving feedback that the name wasn’t entirely clear.

After reviewing (and testing) our options, we ultimately landed on Dx & Tx as the best name for these diagnostic and treatment monographs. And it makes more sense for our users, which is always the goal.

This name change is rolling out in stages, so you may still see the old name here and there as we finalize the switch.

Don’t let that phase you, though. They’re the same practical monographs you've been using in Plumb's Pro, covering the clinically relevant information you need to work up cases. Each contains original content written by boarded veterinary specialists and undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure accuracy and clinical relevance.

You can search the library of Dx & Tx monographs by disease or clinical sign to find clear, actionable recommendations to help you tackle challenges at the point of care. Topics include clinical diagnoses as well as clinical signs and lab work abnormalities. New topics are continually being added.
