When putting together your digital product, dividing it into sections can be a good idea.

This keeps your digital products organized, making it simpler for customers to follow along.

Sections/Modules can be added to digital downloads and online courses.

Most online courses have multiple sections (for dividing up different types of content, etc). Most digital downloads don't, but you can still add sections if you want to.

Adding sections to your digital products

When you're ready to add a section to digital downloads or online courses, follow the steps below:

  1. In the sidebar menu, click on Products. From there, click on the "Edit" button on the far right of the product.

  2. On the next page, choose Edit, then click on + New section to add a new section to your product.

You can also scroll down to the bottom of your product to find the " + New Section" option if you already have content added to your product:

  3. A new page will appear where you can now input all the information about your new section - such as title, description, and delays (if it is an online course).

  4. When you're finished, click "Save" to save everything.

Sections will only be displayed to your customers if you add lessons/files to it.

Empty sections will not show up for your customers.

FAQ

Can I rearrange sections of my product?

Yes! Simply click on the three-line icon on the left of your section's title and drag it to re-order.

Why are my sections not showing up for customers?

Sections will only be displayed to your customers if you add lessons/files to them.

Empty sections will not show up for your customers. Adding content to those sections will make them show up for customers.

Why can't I set a description for my digital download sections?

When you add a section to a digital download, you can give it a title, but not a description. This is because digital downloads are files meant to be downloaded to a customer's computer or mobile device, not viewed like a web page in a browser.
