Exporting Data
You can export raw data from Polar by selecting "Download" within a supported section. This button enables you to extract a CSV file of the data contained in the graph. Polar currently does not allow visualizations to be downloaded. If you need the graphs, we recommend downloading the raw data and recreating them outside the platform.
To download a Custom Table / Chart, click the three dots in the top-right corner of the report and select "Download".
You can download most dashboards and reports, but Key Indicator Dashboards cannot be downloaded. If you need to access key metrics outside the platform, consider exporting the raw data or setting up scheduled reports via email using our Schedules feature.
How many rows can I export from custom reports?
While you work on your reports in the app, you will only see the first 1,000 rows of data. If you need to export large data tables, you can download up to 100,000 rows of data at once. If your export exceeds this limit, you can reduce your selected time range and download several exports.
Can I automate the process?
If you would like to have this data automatically exported into a Google Sheet (only offered on specific paid plans), you can follow the process below. If you're not sure if your current plan includes access to automated exports, please reach out to our Support Team for confirmation.
Automated Export Request Process:
Reach out through the app chat requesting access to automated exports. In your request, please include:
The exact name of the report you need and the link (available in the URL when you edit the report)
The filters or Views we need to apply
Which email(s) you'd like us to share it with
Date range
Granularity: daily, weekly, monthly ...
The frequency of the export - how often you want the data to refresh
We will use the structure of your custom report for the automated export (metrics and dimensions).
We'll get back to you with the automated export as soon as possible.
