How did you start?
The idea came out when hemp was legalized in Australia. We wanted to build a Hemp focused business. It worked well and it got to a point where we wanted to offer people complementary products such as vitamins or non-hemp products.
You take this kind of product to solve a specific problem, not for your entire life, that's why we offer products which have an immediate impact on people's life.

We needed to have a holistic view and definitely get rid of the spreadsheets.
How did you monitor growth before Polar Analytics?
Very hard because we have 2 Shopify stores' backends. We used Excel spreadsheets but it required lots of data reconciliation. The big challenge was to consolidate 2 stores into 1. We've tried super metrics, Google Data Studio, everything, and Polar is much better!

How are you using it?
Views are a complete game changer! Getting AOV, Repeat % and basically, all indicators across both stores is very good.
We're also doing Cohorts Analysis which is helpful.
Daily Slack Report is really good as well. Custom Report templates (Blended Ads, Shopify P&L) are also extremely useful
What benefits and ROI did you observe with Polar Analytics?
It's gone from end-of-month analysis because it was really painful to do, to a daily analysis really easy.
It's been much easier to monitor our activity on a daily basis, get insights, and correct things when something's going wrong.
We use it all the time and I even use it to report to our board and shareholders!
