We understand how important it is to be able to make confident decisions about your marketing strategies based on the performance of your campaigns. With Polar's Creative Studio, you can now better understand the performance of your various creatives (whether they be images, videos, landing pages, or copy from your campaigns), and make informed data-driven decisions about your marketing strategy.
How-To: Analyze Creative Performance in Creative Studio
Step 1. Choose which creatives you'd like to analyze. In the first dropdown, you can select whether you'd like to analyze images, videos, copy, or landing pages.
From there, you can edit your selection using the "Edit Selection" button and selecting "Choose Images", then selecting the creatives you'd like to analyze - you can select up to five creatives to analyze at a time. Please note that we currently only visualize creative data from Meta (Facebook & Instagram) in Creative Studio.
Use Case: If you're currently A/B testing creatives, this is a great way to select both and cross-compare performance based on Clicks, Impressions, or ROAS.
You can also opt to automatically visualize which creatives are performing the best using the "Sort top performers" option. From here, you can select which creative type you'd like to see, which metric you'd like to sort performance by, how many creatives you'd like to visualize (you can show up to 5), and whether you'd like to sort highest or lowest values first.
Step 2. Choose the metric(s) you'd like to use to analyze performance within the Metrics dropdown menu. You can select up to four metrics here. Once you've selected your metrics, you can hover over the bar graph to see the key for which metric corresponds with which bar.
You can also customize which metric you'd like to order your analysis by, and whether you'd like to order in descending or ascending order. This will customize the order in which the creatives appear on your x-axis.
Use Case: By sorting creatives by ROAS, you can quickly determine which visuals bring in the highest return and better decide which campaigns to continue running (or pause to ensure your team saves money).
Step 3. Choose how you'd like to visualize your creative analysis. We currently offer a Chart View and a Graph View. By default, you'll see your creatives visualizes in the Chart View, but you can easily toggle to the Card View to visualize your creatives as cards rather than as a bar chart.
You can also leverage the "Performance Over Time" graph to see a trend line of the metrics you've select for each creative that you'd like to analyze. Hover over any of the dates on the x-axis to see the key and values for each metric & creative.
