Sometimes, a parent may need a bit more time to top up their Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) account before making a payment. TFC Standard Checkout allows them to do so.
During the checkout process, parents can select Tax-Free Childcare as the payment method and choose the TFC standard checkout option — a button just below the express checkout button.
We ask that parents enter their card details on file as a booking guarantee. This way, parents can receive an instant booking confirmation and you can have a way to recover overdue payments.
We will send the parent email reminders over the course of 2 weeks to complete their payment.
Once parents have made the payment, they should complete the process by adding their child or children's TFC reference code. This allows us to automatically reconcile the payment for you.
You have the option to charge the parents card directly from your payment dashboard according to your company policies.
