We use Adyen to store payment guarantee card details, process card payments and payouts, whether it's from a card payment or charging a parent's card for an overdue payment.
In line with UK regulation, Adyen is required to conduct a Know Your Customer (KYC) check. KYC checks are legally required procedures, particularly in the financial sector, that verify customer identities, assess risks, and help prevent financial crimes like money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud.
This should only take 10-15 minutes.
During the KYC step, you will be asked to share the following information:
Basic business details, such as the company structure, the company's legal name, and registered address.
Basic information on the decision-makers of the business (please remember to add at least one signatory), such as name, date of birth and address.
Payout bank details.
You will also be asked to review and sign the required documents, namely the services agreement and the PCI DSS questionnaire.
Please note that Adyen may take 1-3 business days to verify the information.
