Turn Web Search Off:
Click the Deep research button again
Your chat returns to using only your connected knowledge base
When to Use It
Use web search when you need to research:
Current trends and recent data
Information not in your uploaded files
Real-time statistics and facts - be sure to specify the year. For example "What are recent fitness trends in 2026"
Competitor analysis
Turn it off when you're working solely with your existing knowledge base.
Credit Usage
Web search consumes credits like regular chat usage.
