B2B Upsells Overview

PortalSphere includes three powerful B2B upsell tools designed to help you increase average order value and guide wholesale buyers toward the products that matter most.

1) Top Seller Upsell

The Top Seller Upsell allows you to spotlight high-priority products directly in front of your wholesale buyers. These may include:

  • New product launches

  • Best-selling or trending items

  • Seasonal highlights

  • Priority SKUs you want to push to wholesale customers

This upsell encourages your buyers to quickly discover and add your most important products to their order.

2) Complementary Products Upsell

The Complementary Products Upsell displays an additional product that pairs well with the item your buyer is currently viewing.

Example:

If a customer is viewing a T-shirt, the Complementary Products upsell may show shorts, pants, or another item that completes the outfit.

This helps buyers:

  • Build larger, more complete orders

  • Discover products they may not have searched for

  • Add related items directly from the product page

3) Buy More, Save More

The Buy More, Save More Upsell appears inside the cart drawer when a buyer is eligible for additional savings based on tiered pricing.

This upsell:

  • Shows the buyer how much more they need to purchase to reach the next pricing tier

  • Encourages them to increase their order size

  • Drives higher average order value in a single click

This upsell only appears when tiered pricing is enabled within a buyer group.
