Many US retailers do not ship internationally. Others may charge very high international shipping rates or only accept US shipping addresses. Package forwarding solves this problem by giving you your own US address that you can use when shopping online.
With PostFromUS, your order is first shipped to your personal US shipping address. Once your package arrives at PostFromUS, we add it to your account. You can then choose how and when to ship it to your country.

Why People Use Package Forwarding
People use package forwarding because it makes US shopping easier from outside the United States.
Package forwarding can help when:
A US store does not ship to your country
A retailer only accepts US shipping addresses
You want to buy from multiple US stores
You want to combine packages into one international shipment
You want more shipping options than the retailer offers
You want help preparing your package for international shipping
Example
If you live outside the United States and want to buy from a US store that only ships within the US, you can use your PostFromUS address at checkout.
The store ships your order to PostFromUS. Once it arrives, you log in to your account, choose your international shipping option, and PostFromUS forwards the package to your country.
Is Package Forwarding the Same as a PO Box?
No. A package forwarding address is not the same as a regular PO Box.
Your PostFromUS address is used to receive eligible packages from US retailers and forward them internationally. It should not be used as a personal mailing address, business registration address, bank address, or for regular letter mail.
Can Package Forwarding Save Money?
Sometimes, yes.
If you order from several US stores, package forwarding may allow you to combine multiple packages into one shipment. This is called consolidation. In some cases, consolidation or repacking can reduce the size of the shipment and lower international shipping costs.
However, savings are not guaranteed. Shipping cost depends on the package weight, box size, destination country, carrier, and item restrictions.
What Items Can Be Forwarded?
Many common retail products can be forwarded internationally, including clothing, shoes, accessories, books, toys, and many household items.
Some items may be restricted or prohibited, including certain batteries, perfumes, aerosols, liquids, food, medicine, hazardous materials, weapons, and country-restricted products. Always check the rules before buying an item you are unsure about.
Who Pays Customs Duties and Taxes?
The receiver is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or clearance charges required by the destination country.
PostFromUS helps prepare the shipment for export, but customs fees are set by the destination country and are not controlled by PostFromUS.
