Your Content Library is the foundation of how Postiv AI creates authentic LinkedIn content. The more valuable content you upload, the better your AI agent understands your expertise, voice, and unique perspective.

Important!!
Do not upload tone of voice instructions in the Content Library. You can update your tone of voice instructions via Settings β†’ AI Context. Anything you add there will be added to the custom instructions of the AI. You can update this for each team profile individually.

Why Your Content Library Matters

Remember: Garbage in = garbage out.

Every time you request a LinkedIn post, your AI agent searches through your Content Library to find relevant insights from your actual expertise. This is what separates quality, authentic content from generic AI slop.

Your Content Library trains the AI to sound like you and share your unique knowledge - not generic information anyone could find on the web.

What You Can Upload

You can add virtually any type of content that showcases your expertise:

Written Content

  • Blog posts and articles - Your published work, thought leadership pieces

  • Newsletters and email content - Past newsletters, email sequences, campaign content

  • PDF documents - Guides, ebooks, reports you've created

  • Presentations and slides - Keynotes, pitch decks, webinar slides

  • Text notes and ideas - Raw notes, frameworks, methodologies you use

  • Industry reports or whitepapers - Research you've conducted or contributed to

Video & Audio Content

  • YouTube videos - paste in your Youtube URL and we automatically add the transcript.

  • Recorded presentations - Transcripts from talks, workshops, or training sessions

Social Media Content

  • Previous LinkedIn posts - Your best-performing posts help the AI learn your voice

  • Case studies - Success stories and client results (anonymized if needed)

  • Testimonials and reviews - Social proof that highlights your expertise

Other Assets

  • Screenshots - Visual examples, before/after comparisons, tool demonstrations

  • Images with context - Visual assets relevant to your industry or expertise

Best Practices for Your Content Library

βœ… Do Upload:

  • Content that showcases your unique expertise and experience

  • Diverse content types to give AI full context

  • Your best work that you're proud to reference

  • Specific examples, case studies, and frameworks

  • Content that reflects how you actually speak and think

❌ Don't Upload:

  • Generic industry information anyone could Google

  • Content that doesn't represent your perspective

  • Outdated information you no longer stand behind

  • Do not upload tone of voice instructions or brand guidelines. You should add that via settings β†’ LinkedIn styling

Tips for Maximum Results

Start with your best stuff: Upload 5-10 pieces of your strongest content first. This immediately gives your AI agent a solid foundation.

Add variety: Mix blog posts, presentations, and previous LinkedIn posts so the AI understands different formats and contexts.

Keep it relevant: Focus on content related to topics you want to post about on LinkedIn.

Update regularly: As you create new content (webinars, articles, case studies), add it to your library. Your AI agent gets smarter with every addition.

Remember

Your expertise is your competitive advantage. The Content Library is how you transfer that expertise to your AI agent - so it can help you share your knowledge consistently on LinkedIn without starting from a blank page every time.
