How to Use Rough Notes Effectively

1. Add rough notes during or after a session

  • Click “Rough Notes” on the client’s session page

  • Type directly into the text box or dictate using your mic

  • Useful for capturing impressions, key quotes, or reminders to follow up

2. Keep rough notes separate from AI notes

  • Rough Notes are not included in the AI-generated note unless you copy/paste them

  • They’re stored in the session timeline for your reference, and editable at any time

3. Use voice dictation to save time

  • Click the microphone icon to dictate your notes

  • Ideal for quickly capturing reflections while they’re fresh

  • Dictation is transcribed and saved automatically

4. Use as a supervision or thinking tool

  • Great for adding personal reflections or conceptual notes not suitable for formal records

  • You can export them or copy them into another system if needed
