If your avatar does not speak in your target language right off the bat, do not panic! The avatar is programmed to speak in your native language if your level of study language is not enough to practice conversation directly. The avatar will guide you through new words in your study language until you build up enough vocabulary to be able to face a conversation in your study language.
If your avatar speaks in an unknown language to you, please go to your profile in the app and click on “Report technical issue”. This enables us to see exactly what happened technology-wise. Try to provide as much information as possible so our support team can better understand your issue. We will get back to you within 24-48 hours to help resolve it!
