Loan Officer Settings Overview (In Progress)

What you can do as a Loan Officer, as well as what each of the Loan Officer settings can do and where to find them.

Step One: Click on the gear icon in the lower left corner of the Dashboard in order to get into Settings.

Step Two: If you have access to Company Settings as well as your personal settings, choose your personal Loan Officer settings.

Step Three: Now that you're in settings there are several different menus you can use; App Config, System Config, and System Defaults.

A. App Config: If you click the App Configuration, this is where you can change your branding, choose which widgets go on your mobile app, and choose what is available to your client's through the mobile app. App Configuration is how you customize your app. If you are interested in learning more about customizing your app, click here.

B. System Config: The System Config includes Conditions and Rates.

Conditions has two sub-categories; Conditions Library and Conditions Engine.

The Conditions Library is the settings for which loan documents are in the system as a template. These specific documents can be pulled into loans. This is also where you tag the documents, and where you decide how much realtor permissions exist in the system.

The Conditions Engine is a system of rules that allows you to build statements surrounding when you ask for conditions from customers.

In the Rates area, this is where you can change your rates globally.

C. System Defaults: Under System Defaults there are several categories; Compliance and Disclaimers, Loan Templates, Loan Applications, Pre-Approval Letters, Notifications, and Integration Defaults.

Compliance and Disclaimers is where you decide what information you would like to display for compliance purposes.

Loan Templates is where you go to adjust your Milestones, as well as Programs and Fees.

Loan Applications is where you can change what you want to have in your loan applications.

In Pre-Approval Letters you can access your letter template editor, as well as what permissions you prefer.

Notifications is where you choose which notifications are used, and who the notifications go to.

Integration Defaults can take you to your profile where you can get more in depth with integration features. Integration Defaults can also give you access to Loan Defaults, which is where you can change things like Homeowners Insurance Period, or Property Taxes, etc.
