Prefixbox AI Search & Filter for Shopify app has both Free and Paid plans.

Upon installing the app, you will begin on the Free Plan by default. Afterwards, you can choose the plan that best suits your business needs at any time and start improving the search functionality of your store.

With the Prefixbox Free Plan you can explore our applications’ features and upload up to 3000 products. This plan also includes up to 700 free searches per month.

If you need more searches, or you have more products, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan.

Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial period, giving you full access to the features included in your chosen plan.

After the 14-day free trial period, you will have the flexibility to either continue with your current subscription, upgrade, or downgrade to a different plan.

About the free trial

Please note that each merchant only gets one 14 day free trial period. This means that if you use the 14 day free trial on the Basic Plan and then upgrade to the Advanced Plan, there will not be a second 14 day free trial.

If you start your free trial on the Basic Plan and have already used some of the free trial days, then decide to upgrade to the Advanced Plan, your free trial will continue until all 14 days have been used.

Manage your Prefixbox subscription

If you are currently subscribed to our Free Plan and are considering upgrading to a paid plan, there are three additional plans to choose from.

If you require more API requests or have a larger product catalog than what these plans offer, you can opt to become a managed customer. If you are a managed customer, you have access to a more robust feature offering and our Customer Success Managers. Read more about becoming a managed customer here:

How to Upgrade your plan

To upgrade from the Free Plan, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Account > Current plan. You can select a plan to upgrade your subscription here.

2. Select the plan and click on Upgrade.

3. Approve your selection. Your product feed will be synchronized as soon as the plan you have selected allows it. The number of products and API requests will be limited by the selected plan.

4. Upon activating your new subscription plan, your previous one will end immediately and be replaced by the new one's charges. You will get an email notification about the first charge date and charge amount.

*Note: It is also essential to know that each store requires a separate subscription plan with us. Therefore, if you have two or more stores you will need a Prefixbox subscription plan for each.

How to Downgrade your plan

The downgrading process is the same as the upgrading process. Changes will take effect as outlined in the selected plan.

*Note: If you choose to downgrade your current plan and the number of promotions, redirect rules, and synonyms exceeds the limit of the new plan, you will need to delete them first.

How to cancel your subscription

Your subscription cannot be canceled, but you can always downgrade to our Free Plan or uninstall the application, which effectively functions as a form of cancellation.

*Note: If you are behind on your payments, your store will be frozen.
