Start your proposal by choosing the Order Type "Rental." It's important that the service offering type is Legacy.
To add equipment you will follow the 3rd party process linked here. Typically rentals are fulfilled with used (PPO) gear but if you have VP/Finance approval to use new gear for the rental you can add it using the standard pricebook on the equipment tab.
Once gear is added on the equipment tab the pricing for both the service and the rental hardware pricing needs to be added into the contracts tab.
You add the service as you normally would.
To add the hardware rental cost, you will click the "+ Misc Charge" button in the contract tab. You will need to click the "Custom Cost" toggle button and then fill in the information of the pricing.
**Please note this will create a meter request that will need to be reviewed and approved by the team.
The deal should be set to a cash deal and then a credit request should be submitted.
When you are ready to send documents the deal needs to be set back to a lease deal, so the documents populate correctly. Please note you only need the SSA completed on a rental deal. The lease payment should be 100% passthrough.
Please note revenue and commission will not populate correctly in Preo.
