This article will review processing commission for PREO Proposals that have been invoiced through E-Automate. This article does not cover ValueQuix, XITS, or other transactions that happen outside of PREO.

Open Commission Management

As a Regional Admin or Commission Admin, you will have a Commission Management page in your navigation list.

Click on Processing > Proposal & Wallet Balance

There are many tools available to us as Commission Administrators. For standard processing of commission (PREO Proposals that have been invoiced in E-Automate) use the Proposal & Wallet Balance page.

Filter Proposals you will be paying

There are many techniques you may use to filter the proposals that you want to pay against. This will depend on your Region's processing rules. If you are only paying on proposals that have been fully invoiced in E-Automate, consider using these filters:

Invoice Percentage = 95

Paid In Full = No

This will show all Proposals that have been invoiced in E-Automate at least 95% of what PREO expected and have not yet been processed.

If you processed a proposal that has already been paid, PREO will not overpay. PREO will only pay up to the amount the commission statement show.

Click on the "Process Commission" button

This page has many options. The left hand side "Pay using Core Setting (% Payout)" was built for paying proposals 50%, before they were invoiced. This was used heavily when the items were consistently on backlog.

The commission pre-payment strategy has primarily been abandoned and can be ignored unless your Region needs to pre-pay commission.

We will use the "Pay against Wallet Balance" options

Typically, you will release all commission when the deal is ready for payout. Using the green "All" button will pay all commission owed on the proposal for each type of commission: Equipment, MPS, etc.

However, If you need to payout MPS (or others) only, you could use the MPS button specifically.

Clicking "Show Summary" will provide a pop-up page after processing with a total commission amount. This can be helpful as a confirmation that data was processed, but is not necessary. It's recommended to turn this ON when you are first getting started.

Clicking "Update Commission Before Processing" will recalculate the commission based on the current commission plan. This is useful if commission plans were recently updated and you want to verify the correct plan is being used. This will slow down the processing and should only be used if required.
