Create Commission Plans (Regional Admin)

Commission Plans are one of the most important pieces of PREO. An accurate Commission Plan means that Sales will see their commission updated properly on all types of Proposals they create. We need commission to estimate on Proposals with 100% accuracy for the process to work efficiently. Your Region should have at least one resource that can build and manage Commission Plans effectively.

Assign Commission Plans (Regional Admin)

Once your Commission Plans are built, they need to be assigned to users. This can be done per user by editing the account or using the Rep Comp Plan Management page.

Submit Proposal (Sales Rep)

The Sales team will build their proposal and review their commission in real-time as they make changes. When they have met all requirements, they will Submit For Review. The Order Processing team will review the deal, create the Sales Orders in E-Automate, and then the equipment will be delivered and invoiced in E-Automate.

Invoice Equipment in E-Automate (Order Processing)

This process is handled outside of PREO but is usually required before a Region pays out commission. PREO will sync the invoiced value each morning. This allows the commission administrator to filter on Proposals that have been fully invoiced.

Process Commission (Commission Admin)

Processing Commission is a complex process. This article explains the base process for processing commission that started in PREO and invoiced in E-Automate. This is typically 80% of the commission process. Understanding this process critical before moving on to more advanced commission processing such as custom items, bonuses, ValueQuix, XITS, and other import activities. These advanced techniques should be documented per Region as the process varies Region to Region.
