You'll often want to reward your Challenge participants with a token of recognition for outstanding work. This article will show you how to do that on PreprLabs.

Follow the Challenge creation process until you hit the Incentives section.
Participation awards
By default, this section has four mandatory fields for a participation award. They are:
Prize name: The name of the achievement, badge, or award you want to give for participating in this Challenge. This will show up on each participant's profile.
Participation prize: Any secondary, non-platform prizes you want to give for participating in this Challenge.
Participation points: How many Learning Points you want to give users for participating in this Challenge.
Upload achievement image: The image for this achievement. This will show up on each participant's profile.
Awards for winners
You can also use this section to create winner achievements for exceptional projects. To create these achievements, click the Add winner achievement button. This will add another section with the same fields as above.
Prize name: The name of the achievement, badge, or award you want to give for winning this Challenge. This will show up on each participant's profile.
Prize: Any secondary, non-platform prizes you want to give for winning in this Challenge.
Points: How many Learning Points you want to give users for winning this Challenge.
Upload achievement image: The image for this achievement. This will show up on each participant's profile.
Any prizes you create will be visible to participants on the Challenge's detail page.
Heads up! If you want to offer physical or digital prizes, then you are responsible for distributing them to the winners.

You can edit your Challenge at any time to add a prize component. To do so, enter the Edit interface, and navigate to the Achievements section. This section will have the same fields described above.
Any prizes you create will be visible to participants on the Challenge's detail page.
