This article applies only to properties connected to FrontDesk Master. Our team needs to activate it for your property first.
Price per Occupancy lets you adjust a room's price based on how many guests stay in it.
How to set Price per Occupancy
Make sure our team has activated Price per Occupancy for your property. If you haven't used it before, contact our Customer Support Team to activate it first.
Go to Settings > Room Setup.
In the FrontDesk Master Only column, click the status next to the room type you want to set up. It shows Not set or Active.
In the Set Price per Occupancy pop-up, switch the toggle to Enabled.
For each number of guests, enter a Price Modifier. Click % next to a value to switch between a percentage and a fixed amount in your currency. The row marked (Base) is the room's full guest capacity and can't be edited.
Click Save Changes. The room type now shows Active.
How the modifiers work
The price for the room's full guest capacity is the base.
For each smaller number of guests, you set a modifier, either as a percentage or as a fixed amount in your currency.
Modifiers can be positive or negative.
Example: a triple room has a base price of €100. If you set 2 guests to -10%, the price for two guests is €90.
Getting it activated
Price per Occupancy is only available for properties connected to FrontDesk Master, and it's not active by default. Our team activates it for each property individually.
To use it, contact our Customer Support Team. Until it's activated, the FrontDesk Master Only column doesn't appear in Room Setup. Once it's active, you can change the settings yourself at any time.
