Competitor Settings

Written by Arleen E.

This tab will appear only for Channel-based and Hybrid model accounts.

The Competitor Settings page displays your monitoring style choice and lets you configure marketplace preferences, URL exclusions (pause), and include or exclude specific websites from tracking.

Competitor Monitoring Style

An overview of the monitoring method currently enabled in your account.

Google Shopping & Amazon Country

This section shows the country or market currently enabled for tracking. If no monitoring is selected for a specific channel, the field will remain blank.

Please note that even when a specific country is selected, you may still see results from other countries or markets, as international sellers can list and sell their products within your selected market. This is expected behavior and does not indicate an issue with the tracking.

Amazon Channel Configuration

Default: Unchecked/Disabled.

When Amazon tracking is enabled, you may choose whether to:

  • Track all sellers - leave both boxes unchecked

  • Track the seller appearing in the Amazon Buy Box only

  • Track Amazon’s own offering only - products sold directly by Amazon, excluding offers from third-party sellers.

Enable Specific URL Exclusion

Default: "No".

Enabling this option will display the Pause URL button, allowing you to exclude a selected URL from all reporting and Dynamic Pricing calculations for that product.

Include or Exclude Specific Competitors

If there are specific websites you want to include or exclude from tracking, you can enter their domain names here. Please enter them in xyz.com format only, not https://xyz.com/.

Include Only

When the Include only option is enabled, only the websites listed there will be tracked, and any websites not included in the list will be ignored.

Exclude

To add several websites at once, we recommend removing them via Manage >> Competitors.

The competitor will no longer appear in future monitoring results (starting from the next update cycle at the earliest).
