Shopify Settings

Written by Arleen E.

You can access your Prisync Shopify settings by going to Settings and selecting the Shopify Settings tab.

Which product details do you want to keep synchronized with Prisync?

Default: All attributes sync is enabled.

Once you make your selection, product details such as Name, Category, Tags, Brand, Product Code, Barcode, Cost, and Status will automatically stay up to date for the products already imported into the Prisync panel

Do you want to get your product list in sync with Shopify?

Default: “No”

Activating this preference by selecting “Yes” will import all Active-state products, up to your plan’s SKU limit. During synchronization, the product details will be fully retrieved.

Once you choose "Yes", one additional setting will appear:

↳ Do not import my out-of-stock products

Enable this option to exclude out-of-stock products in your Shopify store from being auto-imported.

Do you want to add archived, draft, and unlisted products to Prisync?

Default: “No” - Only Active products will be visible in the import section.

By selecting "Yes", you will allow the Prisync app to include Archived or Draft products.

Which Shopify state should trigger deletion of your products on Prisync?

Default: Unchecked/Disabled.

If you select either of the options, it will allow Prisync to delete products from the panel if you change their status from Active to Draft or Archived.

Do you want your prices to be updated instantly with the calculated SmartPrice by Prisync Repricing Engine?

Default: No (Disabled).

If you select "Yes", your prices will be automatically adjusted according to your SmartPrice rules.

💡 Tip: Before you enable this setting, keep a backup file of your original prices.
This way, if you ever need to revert back to your original prices, you can re-import that file and restore everything at once instead of updating them one by one.

However, if there are no SmartPrice rules or suggestions affecting a particular product, its price will remain unchanged. Please go here for detailed information on how to set up SmartPrice rules.

To use this feature, the products you want to reprice must be imported via Shopify Batch Import from your Products Page.

Once you choose "Yes", two additional settings will appear:

↳ CaP Adjustment Setting

Depending on your theme, the original price may appear crossed out when it is higher than the SmartPrice. This allows your customers to easily compare the original price with the updated price.

  • Never: Prisync will update your sales price without affecting the Compare-at-Price of your Shopify field.

  • Conditional: Prisync changes your Compare-at Price only in the two situations below. The rest of the time, it updates your price and leaves your CaP alone.

    (1) Your product has no CaP, and Prisync lowers its price

Prisync saves your old sales price as the CaP, so customers see the discount as a "was / now" price.

Your sales price was $100 and has no CaP. New SmartPrice is $90.

    New CaP: $100

    New price: $90

    (2) Prisync sets a new price that's equal to your CaP

If the new SmartPrice matches your CaP, Prisync removes the CaP and shows only the price, because there's no longer a discount to display.

Your sales price was $90 and your CaP is $100. New SmartPrice is $100.
    New CaP: Removed
    New price: $100

  • Always: Prisync updates both your sales price and your Compare-at Price (CaP) every time. Each time the price changes, your previous sales price becomes the new CaP.

↳ How do you want to reprice your variants?

There are three options to choose from:

  • Reprice independently

  • Reprice as the minimum variant SmartPrice

  • Reprice as the maximum variant SmartPrice

Automated Repricing Pauses

Once you have activated automated repricing, please note that there are times when repricing stops for competitor tracking.

The current pause times (in GMT+3) are:

05:00–10:00

14:00–16:15

22:00–00:15

Once the pause ends, the system will automatically continue updating your prices.
