We have made significant improvements to Opportunities in the new ProdPro Pipeline, adding flexibility, customization, and faster ways to manage your sales workflow.

This article walks through how to create, view, and customize opportunities.

Creating Opportunities

You can now create opportunities from multiple places throughout Pipeline:

  • From the Actions column on the Productions page

  • From the Opportunities tab on a Production detail page

  • From a Company detail page

  • Directly from the Opportunities page

This allows you to add opportunities wherever it makes the most sense in your workflow.

Viewing Opportunities

On the Opportunities page, you will now see all open opportunities by default.

In the top right corner, use the dropdown to toggle between:

  • My Opportunities

  • All Opportunities

  • Won

  • Lost

This makes it easy to focus on just what you need at any given time.

Custom Opportunity Stages

You can now create and manage your own opportunity stages.

To customize stages:

  1. Go to Account

  2. Select My Team

  3. Open the Sales Stages tab

From here, you can:

  • Rename stages

  • Assign color indicators

  • Change the sort order

  • Set a percentage to close for each stage

These settings apply across your team and help standardize your sales process.

List View and Kanban View

On the Opportunities page, you can switch between two views:

List View

  • Choose which columns are displayed

  • Rearrange columns to match your workflow

Kanban View

  • View opportunities by stage

  • Drag and drop opportunities between stages to quickly update status

Filtering and Custom Views

Click on any stage name to view only opportunities in that stage.

You can further refine what you see using filters. Filters can be saved and used to create custom widgets on your Home page for quick access.

Tasks and Next Steps

If your company used the Next Steps field in the legacy Pipeline, those entries have been converted into Tasks in the new Pipeline.

You can manage tasks in several places:

  • From the Tasks page, where you can mark tasks as completed, update due dates, or reassign them to other team members

  • Directly from an Opportunity detail page

  • From the list view on the Opportunities page
