To create your first option in PC app, start with “Options” section under Product Customizer in the App section of Shopify

Please follow the steps below to create your options:

Click create option, a new window will appear that allows you to create options as per your requirement, along with their Live preview on the right side. The advantage of this preview is that you get to see both desktop and mobile page preview.

Add the Option name and Option Label, the option name is a must, whereas option label can be added if required and that will be displayed on the product page.

Choose the input type of the option, out of the 10 different input types we have

You can also make your option required, it is for those options, which you want your customers to add and should not be skipped, before adding to cart.

Below are the examples of each input type for the reference:

An option name is added, and the input type is selected as Checkbox. To add multiple values under checkbox, “Add another value” is clicked each time.
We also provide the feature to add price add-on, so that you can charge extra for each variant if required, and the add-on value to be charged is added in the price column in front of each value.

To remove any option value, you can use the delete symbol on right side of the price column.

On the right side, you have the option to Discard or Save. You can Save your created option from there. Along with that, you get the Live preview of options for Desktop and Mobile pages.

Here you can add the names of the Google fonts that you want your customers to select as the option values, and those will be added to the list.

Here you can click on the black color image thumbnail and all the colors patterns will open up and you can pick any other color form the pattern and that color will be added. After picking the color, add the color name as option value.

All you need to create a text option is the input type along with Option name. You can also use the placeholder, so that the customer can easily identify the area to enter the details.

Here you need to add option name along with input type as Dropdown and the variants of dropdown can be added one by one.

Add an option name for the radio option along with input type as Radio Button and then add the variants of the radio button, also you can add prices if they have for each variant.

While creating a date option, you do not have to add any option value, just select the input type as Date picker and a calendar will be added.

Here you must add an image and their respective names for the option values.

You can add a paragraph field for input, no option value must be added. You can add a place holder and maximum character limit.

You can add single or multiple places for image upload by the customer. No option value is required. You can add an add-on price value for each image upload field.
