The Product Customizer app works with Ajax carts such as cart drawers or popup notification in most cases. However, in a few cases, the app does not find compatibility with theme’s Ajax cart and sometimes the addon pricing total is not carried to the cart page or the uploaded image does not move to the cart page.
To overcome these situations, we prefer disabling the Ajax cart so that the app works properly and delivers all the features to our customers.
To disable the Ajax cart please follow the steps below:
Step 1
Go to the theme editor in Online Store, of the concerned theme in your store. Click Customize
Step 2
Go to Theme Settings inside the theme editor
Step 3
Select Cart from the list and change the cart type to Page
Then click Save to save the changes in the editor.
In some themes, changing the cart type to Page also does not disable the Ajax cart, so for those cases, please contact the theme developer to disable the Ajax in the cart.
