Introduction
Filters in the Tasks List View allow you to search through all tasks in your Progression account using one or more criteria.
Combining filters helps you quickly locate the information you need and streamline your daily operations.
Prerequisites
None. This feature is available by default in Progression.
Description
The left panel of the List View contains all available search filters.
You can apply a single filter or combine multiple criteria to narrow down your results.
By default, the Appointment: This Week filter is automatically applied when opening the List View.
Using Filters
A standard list of search criteria is available by default.
If the information you are looking for is not included in the visible filters, additional criteria can be added for more advanced searches.
Available Search Criteria
Code(s)
Type: Text field
Important: This criterion overrides all other filters.
Allows you to search for a task by its task number.
Example:

158to find task AS000158.
Task Type
Type: Multiple selection
Filters results by one or more task types available in your account.
Status
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks based on available workflow statuses.
Status Change During a Specific Period
Type: Status selection + date period
Finds tasks that were moved into a selected status during a specified period.
Priority
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks according to their priority level.
Human Resource
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks assigned to one or more employees.
Label
Type: Multiple selection or checkbox
Filters tasks based on associated labels.
Appointment
Type: Single selection
Filters tasks according to their appointment date.
Created On
Type: Single selection
Filters tasks by creation date.
Last Updated
Type: Single selection
Filters tasks according to the last modification date.
Completed
Type: Single selection
Filters tasks based on the first date they reached a status with an ID of 600 or greater.
By default, this usually corresponds to Completed (600).
Client
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks by assigned client.
Location
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks by recorded location.
Equipment
Type: Multiple selection
Filters tasks by associated equipment.
Parent Tasks and Subtasks
Type: Single selection
Available options:
Parent Tasks Only
Displays only parent tasks.
Subtasks Only
Displays only subtasks.
Optionally, you can specify a parent task code to display only subtasks associated with that task.
Saving a Filter
Once your search criteria have been configured, you can save them for future use.
Configure your filters.
Click Save.
Enter a filter name.
Choose whether to share it with all users.
Private Filter
If Shared is not selected, the filter will only be available to your user account.
Shared Filter
If Shared is selected, all account users will be able to use the filter.
Saved filters can be accessed from the Saved Filters section.
Tips and Tricks
Clear All Filters
To display all tasks without filters:
Click New.
Click Apply.
All criteria will be removed and all tasks in the account will be displayed.
Search Examples
Find all quotations from last month that have not yet been accepted or rejected
Apply the following filters:
Status: 350 - Quote - Sent to Client
Appointment: Previous Month
Find a task using an invoice number
If you only have an invoice number from your accounting software:
Open Additional Criteria.
Select Invoice Number.
Enter the invoice number.
Find all tasks containing a specific product
Open Additional Criteria.
Select Items - Name.
Enter the product name.
Retrieve an employee's work history
Use the following filter:
Human Resource: Select the employee.
Troubleshooting
I Cannot See the Filters
The filter panel may be collapsed.
To display it:
Click the arrows beside the filter section to expand it.
