Overview
A File Page allows you to upload an external file — such as a PDF or image — directly into a quote so customers can view it as part of the final document. File Pages are static drop-in sections, meaning the content is displayed as-is without being editable inside ProLine. This is ideal when you already have branded or professionally designed materials and want to keep your quotes consistent, polished, and visually organized without rebuilding content manually.
How to Access and Add a File Page
There are two ways to add a File Page depending on your current context:
Option 1: Via Quote Templates
Click the hamburger menu (☰) → Company Settings (this opens a new browser window).
Select Quote Templates from the left menu.
Open an existing template using the pencil icon, or click either +Add Quote Template to create a new one, or Add Quote Template from Library to import a pre-built template.
Click the blue +Add a page button in the left sidebar.
📱 App users: If you're accessing the template from the mobile app, you'll first need to tap Edit (found in the "You are in view mode" banner above the Pages section) before the +Add a page button becomes available.
Select File from the Page Type dropdown and enter a page name.
Click the Add blue button.
The File Page will now appear in the Pages list on the left sidebar.
Option 2: Via a Project
Open a project and click the Quote tab.
Click the pencil icon on the quote you want to edit.
Click the +Add a page blue button in the left sidebar.
📱 App users: If you're accessing the template from the mobile app, you'll first need to tap Edit (found in the "You are in view mode" banner above the Pages section) before the +Add a page button becomes available.Select From Scratch.
Select File from the Page Type dropdown and enter a page name.
Click the Add blue button.
💡 When clicking Add a Page, the option "From Template" lets you pull an existing page from another quote template.
The File Page will now appear in the Pages list on the left sidebar, and will be added to that specific quote only.
Uploading a File to a File Page
Once you've added a File Page, click on it in the left sidebar to open it in the editor. The Page Builder tab will display.
Click on the area that says "Click to Upload a File for This Page" on the right side of the screen.
A pop-up window labeled "Select PDF or Image" will appear with the following tabs:
Project Files — Displays files tied to the project. If you're editing a quote template (from Company Settings), you'll see a "Select Project" button to pull files from a specific project instead.
Company Files — Shows files previously uploaded to ProLine's Company Files section. More details about this here.
Upload — Lets you upload a file directly from your device.
Once you’ve uploaded or selected your file, click on the Add File blue button.

Quick Notes on File Pages
File Pages are static drop-in pages; content cannot be edited inside ProLine.
You can add Content Cells anywhere on the page to collect data from the customer, or add instructions.
To edit the original PDF or image, update it externally and re-upload.
Use one file per File Page for clear organization.
Give pages descriptive titles so your team can easily recognize their contents.
All changes are autosaved — you'll see "Changes are autosaved" in the top-right corner.
Use the visibility checkbox on each page to hide it from customers while keeping it in the template if needed.
Common Use Cases
File Pages work best when you already have ready-to-use materials you want to present professionally inside the quote:
Manufacturer brochures and product specification sheets
Company overview or "About Us" pages
Testimonials and marketing materials
Installation instructions
Measurement reports
Visual content created in external graphic design tools
Pre-designed service descriptions
Surveys, reference documents, or forms (pair with Content Cells to collect data from the customer)
