Accessing the Application

To start your application for a ProLine merchant account, click the green Account Setup button in the top right corner.

Filling Out the Application

If you have completed the phone carrier registration, parts of the application may pre-populate. Otherwise, you'll need to fill out the application manually.

Begin by entering the first and last name of the business owner on the initial merchant onboarding page. Include the business email and the appropriate company or organization type.

Click Next step to continue.

Business Details

  1. Input the legal business name as it appears on your LLC articles or articles of incorporation. Additionally, fill out your DBA (Doing Business As) if applicable. Note that the DBA may be displayed publicly, whereas the legal name will not.

  2. Enter your EIN (Employer Identification Number), ensuring it’s 9 digits.

  3. Provide your business phone number and a live website URL. The website must begin with HTTPS and should match the DBA listed.

  4. By default, ProLine accounts are set to the roofing, siding, and sheet metal MCC. Change this as necessary to match your business category from the available list.

  5. Next, enter your estimated activity. We recommend you specify only the amount you expect to process by card and ACH transactions, not the total revenue. Include your expected average payment amount, your maximum payment, and total payment amount

  6. Remember — bigger isn’t better here. No need to pad these numbers. Submitting higher estimates could increase the risk assessment of your merchant account. Enter your best estimate, and click Next step to continue.

Business Address

Enter your business address. Make sure the address matches the primary place of business shown on public records like your website or Google My Business. This address may differ from your registration address.

Click Next step to continue.

Add Owners

You'll need to add your date of birth and social security to be listed as an owner of the business. Your name will automatically populate from the first page.

Any owners holding 25% or more of the business also must be listed on the application. Click Add owner and list their first and last names, dates of birth, SSN, address, and ownership percentage.

Click Next step to continue.

Bank Account Information

Lastly, input your bank routing and account numbers for accounts. For small banks or credit unions, a voided check might be required for verification. We’ll reach out to you if that’s case.

Click Next step to continue.

Submitting the Application

After entering your bank details, you will see an overview page. Address any alerts indicated by exclamation marks. Agree to the terms, confirm, and submit your application.

Merchant applications typically receive approval within one to two hours during business hours, allowing you to start invoicing and collecting payments promptly.

Once approved, the billing page will update to display upcoming deposits and transaction statuses, offering a detailed view of your activity through ProLine.
