To create and manage effective campaigns in ProLine, follow these steps to ensure your automation processes are streamlined and efficient.

Creating a Campaign

To start building a campaign in ProLine:

  1. Navigate to hamburger menu > Campaigns.

  2. You'll see folders that help organize your campaigns. Click into an existing folder or create a new one.

  3. Click on New Campaign and name your campaign.

Campaigns in ProLine can be used for various purposes, such as creating tasks, sending emails and text messages, sales follow-up, appointment reminders, and asking for reviews. Add a description if needed, and choose to clone an existing campaign if you prefer to start from a template.

Campaign Settings and Options

Once your campaign is created, you'll see several options and settings:

  • Title: The name of your campaign.

  • Color Block: Helps differentiate between campaigns.

  • Edit Options: Allows you to change the campaign's name, description, and color.

  • Contacts: Displays all contacts currently in the campaign.

  • Campaign Toggle: Turn the campaign on or off.

  • Pause Button: Pause the campaign to prevent unintended communications or actions during setup.

Adding Steps to a Campaign

To add steps to your campaign:

  1. Click the Add Step (plus sign) button.

  2. The new step will appear as "Disabled". Click on "Disabled" again to see a dropdown menu with step options:

Select the type of step you want to add from the dropdown menu. For example, you can choose to send a text message, email, or push notification.

  3. Configure the step settings, such as delays and start modes. More on this in the next section.

Understanding Campaign Step Start Modes

Step start modes tell ProLine the rules to follow when deciding on when to actually run a step after it's regular delay has passed.

ProLine offers various start modes for automating campaign steps:

  • Starts Immediately: Runs the step as soon as the delay is over. (Can be restricted to business hours).

  • Starts at Optimal Time: Uses AI to send messages when the contact is most likely to respond (within business hours).

  • Starts at Specific Time: Specifies an exact time and day for the step to run.

  • Starts X Amount of Time Before Campaign's Event: Useful for event reminders, triggering actions leading to the event.

You can group steps to run sequentially or simultaneously by setting the appropriate delays and start modes. For example, you can send a text message followed by an email and a push notification at a specific time.

Note: Start times can also be restricted by the business hours set on the automation tab of your company settings. Click here for details.

Importing Campaign Templates

ProLine allows you to use pre-built templates to save time:

  1. Click the Add Template button at the bottom to access the template library:

  2. Choose a template that fits your needs, such as reviews, referrals, lead rehash, or sales follow-up.

  3. Customize the template to suit your specific requirements.

Additionally, you can use the find and replace feature to quickly update text elements across all automated steps in your campaign.

Setting Up and Running back-to-back Campaigns

ProLine enables you to initiate a different campaign at the conclusion of any existing campaign. This feature lets you immediately start a new, highly relevant automation process for the contacts in your current campaign. For instance, you can follow up a successful review request campaign with a referral request campaign.

Here's how you can do it:

  1. Navigate to hamburger menu > Campaigns. Then select a campaign folder.

  2. Click on View Campaign for the campaign you wish to edit.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom, after the campaign's last step.

  4. Click on the dropdown menu currently labeled "Do Nothing".

  5. Select "Change Campaign".

  6. Click on the dropdown menu labeled "Stop Campaign".

  7. Select the campaign you with to run after the current campaign ends.
