How to Set Up Auto-Generated Coupons

Setup steps for automatically generating a unique coupon code for each visitor, for Shopify, Wix, and Ecwid users.

This feature is exclusively for Shopify, Wix, and Ecwid users. If you're on another platform, please use a coupon pool or a fixed coupon instead.


​You can automatically generate a different coupon code for each site visitor. Two types of coupons can be auto-generated: discount coupons and free shipping coupons. The setup steps for each are explained below.

Steps

  1. Add a coupon to the "Thank You" content.

  2. Click "Coupon."

  3. Click the edit button.

  4. For a discount coupon: Make sure "Auto Coupon" is selected, choose the discount type (percentage / fixed amount), set the expiration date, choose whether to auto-apply the coupon, and click "Set."

  5. For a free shipping coupon: Make sure "Free Shipping" is selected, set the expiration date, choose whether to auto-apply the coupon, and click "Set."

Automatically apply coupon

If "Auto-apply coupon" is set to "Yes," the coupon code will be automatically applied when a user who saw the display proceeds to checkout. (This only applies if the coupon code is valid.)
