How to restrict who can receive a coupon

Explains the 'Who can receive the coupon' setting for controlling coupon eligibility: new customers only, anyone once, or anyone unlimited times. Applies to Thank You view and email delivery.

When displaying a coupon in the "Thank You" view or sending it by email, you can control who is eligible to receive the coupon using the "Who can receive the coupon" setting. This setting does not apply to coupons shown in the "Main" view.

If the form does not have an email address field, this option will not appear.

Find the "Who can receive the coupon" option in the Actions tab and configure it accordingly.

There are two ways to deliver coupons: show them in the "Thank You" view, or send by email.

  • New customers only
    Coupons will not be sent to email addresses already registered in the list set under "Which list to register submitted data to".

  • Anyone, once per person
    Coupons will not be re-sent to someone who has already received one from this display. (Click "View coupon history for this display" to check the list.)

  • Anyone, unlimited times
    Coupons are delivered regardless of whether the person is already in the list or has received one before.
