To connect Promolayer with Klaviyo, enter your Klaviyo Public API Key and Private API Key into the Promolayer dashboard.
Prerequisites
A Klaviyo account
A Klaviyo list to add contacts to
Your Public API Key and Private API Key (found on the API Keys settings page)
Your Private API Key must have Full Access to the following scopes:
List
Profiles
Subscriptions
Settings screen (the actual UI may differ from what's shown)
Steps
Go to the Actions tab for the target display.
Click Connect to Klaviyo.
Enter your Public Key and Private Key, then click Save.
Select the list to sync to from the dropdown, then save your display settings.
Submit a test form and confirm the customer's information is registered in your Klaviyo list. If double opt-in is enabled, complete the opt-in via the confirmation email you receive.
Note: If you're unable to access the API Keys page, or the API key fields don't appear in the settings screen, you may not have admin permissions on the account. Please contact your Klaviyo account administrator and ask them to share both the Public Key and Private Key with you.
Users aren't being added to the list
If customers aren't being added to your list after submitting the form, it's possible double opt-in is enabled and the user hasn't completed the opt-in step.
With double opt-in, the user receives an email and must give permission before they're added to the list.
If you don't want to require user permission, change the setting to single opt-in from the API key settings screen.
