Introduction

Welcome to the Proofig platform. This guide explains what a sub-image is and how our pricing structure works for single users, such as individual researchers and principal investigators.

What is a Sub-Image?

A sub-image refers to any single image element, such as one microscopy picture

or one line of Western blot bands.

For instance, a single figure in your manuscript might contain multiple sub-images. Below is an example figure that includes 9 sub-images.

How Sub-Images Affect Pricing

Our pricing for single users, including individual researchers and principal investigators, is based on the number of sub-images you need to analyze. You choose a yearly package based on your expected usage.

Example of Sub-Image Pricing

For example, if you purchase the 120 sub-images package and your manuscript has 50 sub-images, you’ll use 50 sub-images, leaving you with 70 sub-images for the rest of the year.

Managing Sub-Image Capacity

If you exceed your sub-image capacity, you can upgrade to a higher tier or purchase more sub-images on the platform’s purchase page. For a comprehensive overview of our subscription options, visit our Proofig pricing details.
