  • Other related parties

You can manage, update, and merge duplicate party entries as needed.

Patches

The Patches tab acts as a recovery and audit layer for your case data.

  • Any deleted timeline, damages, or party entries are stored here

  • You can restore deleted items by selecting Revert

This ensures no critical case data is permanently lost.

Left Panel: Case Data Sections

Within the Matter Registry, the left panel contains structured case sections such as:

  • Client

  • Case Details

  • Custom Tabs

  • Litigation

  • Court & Matter

  • Opposing Party

Click the edit icon next to any section to update information.

Customizing Case Overview Tabs

Your firm can create custom tabs and data fields that appear in the Case Overview.

To customize:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Add a new block

  3. Add custom fields within that block

Custom blocks appear as additional tabs within the Case Overview.

This allows your firm to standardize workflows and collect firm specific data.

Organization accounts are limited to 20 blocks, and each block may contain up to 50 unique fields.

Quick Actions Panel

Located on the right side of the page, the Quick Actions panel provides immediate access to core tools:

  • AI Smart Upload – Auto Fill Case Data

  • Time Entry

  • Expense Entry

  • Upload to File Storage

  • Generate Invoice

All actions are automatically tied to the active case.

AI Smart Upload – Auto Fill Case Data

Upload intake forms and documents to automatically populate case data.

All uploaded files are saved directly to your Case Files.

The AI extracts and fills in:

  • Client details

  • Case information

  • Insurance data

  • Additional relevant fields

This is the recommended method for building out a case efficiently and ensuring your case data and supporting documents remain centralized and organized.

Critical Timeline

The Critical Timeline section highlights upcoming deadlines and tasks associated with the case.

This integrates with your AI Calendar and task tracking system to reduce missed deadlines.

Firm Personnel

The Firm Personnel card displays all team members assigned to the case.

You can:

  • Assign users

  • Remove users

  • Manage access visibility

Assigning personnel ensures proper accountability and internal coordination.

Insurance Section

The Insurance panel allows you to:

  • Add insurance policies

  • Track carrier information

  • Store policy details

This data supports demand drafting and case evaluation.

Liens

The Liens section allows you to track:

  • Lien holders

  • Recovery agencies

  • Key lien dates

  • Status updates

This ensures lien resolution is documented and visible throughout the lifecycle of the case.

Financial Ledger

The Financial Ledger tab centralizes:

  • Time entries

  • Expense tracking

  • Invoice generation

This supports transparent billing and internal cost tracking.

Why Case Overview Matters

The Case Overview is more than a summary page. It is your case intelligence system.

Accurate data within this page improves:

  • AI powered legal analysis

  • Structured case development

  • Financial tracking

  • Deadline management

  • Data recovery and audit control

The more complete your case data, the more powerful and accurate your results will be.
