How to add an existing Landlord or Tenant
Adding an existing Landlord or Tenant to a new deal is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. This article will guide you through the process.
Step 1: Choose to add a Landlord or Tenant to the deal
The first step to adding an existing Landlord or Tenant to a new deal is to click on the
"Add +" button within either the Tenant or Landlord section on the left hand side of the deal page.
This will take you to the Add a Landlord or Add a Tenant screen as appropriate.
Step 2: Look up the Landlord or Tenant to be added
Next, enter the Landlord or Tenant's email address in the search bar. This search bar can be found at the top of both the tenant or landlord page, depending on which you are trying to add.
To enter the email, simply click on the search bar and type or paste in the email address of the Landlord or Tenant to be added. Make sure to double check the email address for any typos before moving on to the next step.
Step 3: Click on the Landlord or Tenant's Profile
Once you have entered the email address, a list of profiles will appear. Look for the profile that matches the email address you entered and click on it. This will pull through the relevant details for you to add to the deal.
If you cannot find the Landlord or Tenant, make sure you have entered the correct email address and try again.
Step 4: Add the Landlord or Tenant to the deal
After clicking on the Landlord or Tenant's details, the page will be populated with their details so can review them details and make any necessary changes. To add the Landlord or Tenant to your deal, simply click on the "add tenant" or "add landlord" button.
Once you've added the Tenant or Landlord, their details will be added to the deal and they will be able to access the page with the email and password they used previously.
Congratulations, you have successfully added an existing Tenant or Landlord to a brand new deal!
