How to Remove a Compliance Document

Being able to manage your compliance documents and ensure these are sent to the prospective tenants at the right stages of the tenancy process is a key feature of the Propoly system. However sometimes you may find that you need to remove a document that is on the system, for example if a more up to date certificate has been received and you want to upload that instead.

Step 1: Look up the Property

First, navigate to the Property you are working on. You can do this using either the "Properties" menu on the left hand sidebar or by searching for the Property Address.

Step 2: Open the Upload Documents window

From the property page click on the pencil icon next to the compliance document you want to remove.

This will open up the "Upload Documents" window..

Step 3: Delete the Document

In the "Upload Documents" window, click on the X button next to the compliance document you want to remove.

Note: Please be aware there is no warning or confirmation dialog and your document will be removed immediately. Please ensure you are removing the correct document.

Step 4: Upload a new Document (optional)

After removing the document, you can now upload a new document if you have one. Please don't worry if you don't have a replacement document, you can come back and upload this whenever you are ready.

And that's it! You have successfully removed a compliance document from your deal. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
