Payment Methods on the Propoly System
When it comes to managing payments on the Propoly system, you have several options available to suit your preferences and needs. This article will guide you through the different payment methods supported by Propoly, including Open Banking, card payments, and manual bank transfers.
How to Make Payments with Open Banking
Open Banking is a secure and efficient way to make payments directly from your bank account without needing a debit or credit card. The money will be instantly transferred from your account to the Letting Agent.
Open Banking is the fastest payment method available, and we encourage all prospective tenants to use it whenever possible to ensure your move progresses as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Setting Up Open Banking for Payments
To use Open Banking on the Propoly system, ensure that your bank supports this service. Most major banks offer Open Banking, which can be set up through your bank's online portal or mobile app. Once your payment account is set up, you can easily make payments by selecting the Open Banking option at checkout. Simply follow the prompts to log in to your bank and authorize the payment.
Card Payments
If you prefer, you can also use your debit or credit card to make payments on the Propoly system. This traditional payment method is straightforward: just enter your card details at checkout. However, please note that payments made via debit or credit card can take up to 5 working days to reach your client account.
Manual Bank Transfer
For those who do not wish to use a card or Open Banking, manual bank transfers are another option. This method is particularly useful during the "Move In Monies" stage of your tenancy. To make a manual transfer, log in to your online banking, enter the recipient's bank details, and specify the amount you wish to transfer. Although this method may take a bit longer, it remains a secure way to process your payments.
