ISRCs are identification codes to help keep track of music across stores and services.

At Proton, ISRC codes are generated automatically, for free, for every song.

I'm a music label manager. Where do I get my ISRC codes?

Proton generates ISRC codes for tracks the moment you schedule a release date. Here's a guide to find the ISRC codes for your tracks:

  1. Load a release that has a release date scheduled.

  2. For the track you need a code for, click the "Edit" button.

  3. After the track area opens, click the "Details & Settings" tab.

  4. Look in the bottom left for the ISRC code, which starts with US-83Z

Ask your label manager to provide your ISRC codes by sharing this article with them.

Alternatively, you can sign into SoundSystem and download a CSV of your royalty report, which will contain the ISRC codes for any track sold/streamed that period:

  1. Sign in to SoundSystem, then click the green "Account" tab up top.

  2. After the Account area loads, click "Royalties", then "Download CSV".

  3. When the CSV opens, you can sort by the ISRC column and grab your codes.
