Before 2021, Beatport would update their store with new banners & featured releases on Monday. In March 2021, they changed this to Friday.
Beatport has the most sales on Friday & Saturday, so their change to Friday helps make sure the store is "a fresh as possible" for shoppers during the busiest time.
Because Beatport used to update on Mondays, many electronic music labels schedule their releases for Monday release dates. Going forward, Proton strongly recommends changing your release dates to Friday instead.
My release isn't scheduled for a Friday. Can I change it?

When will it get considered for a feature on Beatport?
If your music is scheduled for release after Friday, then your release won't get considered for a feature until the following Friday update on Beatport. For this reason, Proton recommends releasing music on Fridays.
