PT Mate gives you the option to import your entire existing client list at once, instead of adding them one by one. This is a huge time saver and allows you to get set up in minutes.

Note: You can import your client only on the Trainer Web Portal.

You import your clients by uploading a CSV file which you can either prepare manually or export from another client management system. To upload your clients, you simply select the CSV file from your computer and press "Import Clients". The system will take care of the rest and populate your client list.

Note: While most platforms allow you to create CSV files from your data, some might not offer that option.

What is a CSV file? Think of it as a spreadsheet that is formatted to be understood by a machine. Read more here.

PT Mate caters for most CSV files. However, depending how you have formatted it, the data might not be uploaded as expected.

To avoid any issues, we recommend you use our CSV template that is provided in the Import Clients page.

Before uploading your client list, you can preview it on the page. PT Mate shows you the number of clients to be imported and their associated data so you can double check that everything is correct.

The form offers you the option to invite your clients to join PT Mate at the same time as you upload the list.

You can always invite them later if you wish to wait. Simply deselect this option and invite them from your client list when you're ready.
