For Android-user residents whose community utilizes Bluetooth (BLE) locks for unit lock or community access, location access is required to see and use your corresponding access credentials. The SmartRent app collects location data to allow interactions with Bluetooth-enabled locks, even when the app is closed or not in use. The location data is only used for Bluetooth lock access. We never use your location data for any other purpose.
