How to mark Shopify products as none, lot or serial

Shopify does not offer functionality for managing LOT and serial products.

To identify them for that anyways in PULPO WMS, we can attach a specific product Tag. Please set that for each product in Shopify, where the product type is necessary:

PULPO-LOT for batch products.

PULPO-SERIAL for serial number products

To work properly, both tags must be typed with capital letters.

After the next synchronization of product data, PULPO WMS will change the management type accordingly.

In case the tags need to be added to multiple products, it is possible to edit them in bulk by selecting the products in the overview.

Under More actions select Add tags

Then add the needed tag and save


Non-physical products

Shopify offers the option to sell "non-physical" products, like for example downloads or services. By removing the checkbox Shipping > This is a physical product in the Shopify product data, we can announce that no stock-keeping, picking, packing, and shipping is needed in PULPO.

To filter out those products in PULPO, open Administration > Integrations > INTEGRATION CONFIGURATION and find the Shopify Integration type sales_order. There edit the settings over the three-dot menu, and activate the checkbox > Only import products “This is a physical product”.
From the next sales order import, line items that are not physical products will be ignored.
